How much should you feed each day?

Overfeeding wastes money and, worse, rots on the bottom and poisons your water. Fish eat a share of their own body weight each day, and that share changes with age and temperature. Enter your numbers and we'll estimate a daily feed amount to start from, then let the fish tell you the rest.

Daily feed 100.0 g split into 2-3 feeds a day
Total biomass5.0 kg
Feed rate used2% body weight

Watch the fish, not the clock. Feed only what they clear in a few minutes. If pellets sink past them and settle, you're overfeeding - uneaten feed fouls the water and drives your ammonia up.
